What Hinders True and Lasting Christian transformation

Do we really abhore wrongs? Do we view sin, errors of omissions and of commissions from God’s own perspective? Do we take time to detect the difference between what God perceived as Light, and what He saw as Darkness? Do the two come out as distinctively different when we come across them in whatever form. I mean for example, when another person commits an error, do we reprimand them because we are deeply offended and sorry about the wrong or we are simply envious and wishing we had the chance to do it ourselves, perhaps we could have done it only more discreetly and smartly. When we hear that a person slept with own sister for example, or that another got away with millions from government coffers, is it the offence from God’s view point that saddens us or deep inside we know we are safe from the same just because we lacked the opportunity or weren’t in the same place at the time. In matters right or wrong are we guided by deeply rooted principles and strength of character or simply operating as fate provides. As Christians do we aspire the kind of Postconventional level of faith and morality as the biblical Joseph. In evaluating our performances as Christians do we view our interactions with people and issues from Jesus’ perspective. Do we take time to self weigh and judge our actions before others even have opinion on them or we commit wrongs knowingly while hoping others either wouldn’t notice or when they do would have distorted judgements and let us get away with it. This brings me to a point where i ask, did man ever need the Bible to be right with God. Am not questioning God’s wisdom in providing Holy Spirit led Word to keep His people informed and inspired. But there is this predorminant feeling among Christians that the Bible is the document of reference about what God did with and through others but far failing to realize there’s a Word of God right inside them as well in the present and so far as God is concerned the equal of a bible is in the making every other day around life. Do we recognize errors as sins only when and just because we can see them written in the Bible, or we notice them immediately triggered by an inner Light and Darkness detector instilled inside us at creation. Think about it, how will God’s pre-Bible humans be judged for eternal life on Jesus’ second return. Are we who experience the bible a favoured lot that we would be advantaged against other children of God simply by having access to the Word in the form of Bible. The concept of Light and Darkness remains key. This is Jehovah’s divine empowerment to everyone of His created children right from birth, there’s no room for excuse by any. As complete packages we were made from womb, set with tools of detection for Light and Darkness. This will form the basis of God’s judgement for mankind, all others are convenient additionals. Another beautiful concept and secret to lasting transformational impact in matters faith is introduced by Jesus himself when he instructed in …. that when you receive the power stay in … and when you start to reach out start with …, then,….Spiritual incubation brings to full maturity the workings of the Holy Spirit inside a believer first for impacting empowerment and manifestation in the outside. This vital incubation is not possible to find in noise and publicity, it works on a believer at its best in the quiet and the tranquil. The Holy Spirit needs our individual person first. We’ll have better dominion over the outside once we have dominion over our own negative selfs. This is the common strategy God used right from creation whenever he sought to use man to create impact or serve his interest among others. Jehovah would better have us secluded from the noise and confusions around us, to effectively work on us at personal levels, remolding us to fit the design of his specific mission before again releasing us for impactful service evident and witnessed by all in the outside. A truelly transformed christian will not have to tell others by mouth that he is changed and wired. The outside will clearly see it and testify on behalf. When a christian has had an encounter with the Ancient of Days, the Maker of all that wasn’t there but called all by word into being, but not only that, into being in their pure-rest of forms, the person will for sure be a new creature and evident to every outside agents he or she comes into contact with. Our christian calls are more designed to manifest and impact through our own changed lifestyles than through our verbal expressions. We will not have to speak much for people to acknowledge what is already manifested in the inside for all to see. Words become less and actions reflecting our transformation more noticeable. It is about a process. A divine concept initiated by Jehovah Himself, that before he uses a versel in his purposes, he has to single it out, put it in the tranquil and the lonely for a while, clean it up, give empowerment and ensure our capacity to hear from him accurately is hiped up to his own divine standards. Only this way would God be comfortable with us as trusted varsels of his service to the fallen and sin-downgraded humanity. Any other way, we skip the design and the process as divinely set by the Almighty and end up serving our own self interests unfortunately even right from within set structures for christian service. In this way sadly we end up conducting anti-Christ exercises even within what’s known to unsuspecting and undiscerning faithfuls as places of worship to God himself. We need personal encounters with God to do his work effectively as he designed it.

On The Rock of Ages I Stand – The Ancient of Days

As a keen admirer and follower of Christ-Jesus, i desire and strive to attain Postconventional Faith. I CANNOT, will NOT window-dress or condon religion-courted witchcraft, ill-will, and malicious discord. I will NOT be friends, associate, team up, or cooperate with persons or agencies that disrespects on grounds of class, religion, or misfortune. I will NOT dine or laugh around with demonic acts of jealous, preaching what sounds like love on the outside but secretly betrays justice, peace and harmony on which love is meant to thrive. I will NOT support whatever looks Christian on the outside but in discernment is plain anti-Christ in spirit. I know i am not alone in this, religion and secular platforms will not allow us the settings on which such pretences, hypocracies, falsehoods, and distorted faith is preached, but we’re fine with just knowing Him who loved, redeemed, and continue to keep us saved and safe for His coming Great Day. Oh help us Lord! Amen, Amen and Amen!

Using Genesis 15 to pray against radically determined unrepentant adversaries.

Vs3. Lord God Almighty, you are Warrior of warriors. Vs4 As you did in the days of Pharaoh, hurl the chariots and the army of my enemies into the sea, drown their best war officers into the spiritual red sea, let the deep waters cover them fully, let them sink to the depths like heavy stones. Vs6 Let your right hand, majestic in power, shatter those determined to capture, detain and destroy me, family and property. Vs7 Let the greatness of your majesty throw down those opposing your will and plan over my life, unleash your burning anger and consume my adversaries completely. Vs9 Jehovah, the enemies boast and gloat over me, they say they will pursue me, catch up with me and overtake me, they say they will destroy me and share out my property and belongings, they say they will aim their swords and arms at me as they finish me, but Father, just blow with your mighty breath and the sea will cover them, let them sink like lead into the mighty waters. Vs11 Who among the many gods can be like you, Lord? You are majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders – who can match you Lord? Vs12 Stretch your right hand that the earth may swallow the enemies of your good will upon me and family. Vs13 In your unfailing love Lord, lead your redeemed to safety, in your majestic strength guide us to your holy dwelling. Vs14 When the rest of our enemies hear what you have done to protect and defend your followers, they will tremble and will be full of anguish. Vs15 The chief of enemies to the west will be terrified, the leaders of our foes to the east will tremble in seizers. The enemies to the north will melt away, terror and dread will fall on them. By the power of your arm, they will be as still as stone – till your people pass by safely, till those you redeemed and bought by the precious blood of Christ are safe. Jehovah bring us to safety and establish us on the mountain of your inheritance – keep us safe in the very place you meant for your worship and adoration, the place of your dwelling – your Sanctuary. Keep me and family safe in the place you pre-designed and pre-established for your dwelling and presence. Saturate this place with your majestic presence, reign and dominate every place i step on and dwell in, be here with me Lord, forever and ever Amen!

The Agongo Prayer Mountain, 26th October’25

Father, Lord God Almighty, God of Moses, God of Abraham, God of Joseph, God of Daniel, God of Shadrack Meshak and Abednego, God of Elijah, Elisha and Paul. God of Esther and Modecai, God of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John, my God, search to the foundations of my ancestry and remove every curse that follow my family tree and lineage. Touch base with; the Okoth’s, the Nyomoro’s (the Oyuga Nyar Katengo’s), the Otieno’s, the Ngore’s, the Nyabiagi’s, the Owuor’s, the Oboch’s, the Obora’s…from marriage and family; the Joel’s, the Macha’s, the Mama Victoria’s, Lord scan through these lineages with your divine spiritual laser-radar and cut off my family tie from every curse associated with the mentioned family trees. Jehovah, delink, disassociate Seth Odiwuor Okoth’s family from every accusations and curses connected with the mentioned ancestries, associate my family only with the bloodline of the resurrected, living Christ and Lord, i plead only the blood of Jesus Christ and His righteousness.

Any and all frustrations that we have gone through, are going through or planted on our way associated with our paternal and maternal ancestry, i ask you in this moment of appointment with you Jehovah to cut off and disconnect completely and permanently in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus Christ my Saviour, Redeemer and eternal Friend.

Errors, sins of omissions and of commissions that our parents, grandparents, that our ancestries committed against you, against your people and humanity or against your creations, please i plead the blood of Jesus and ask you to forgive, blot them all out, set us free from their consequences by the favour of the living Christ.

Since my youth, and as a child, i committed countless sins; sins of omissions and of commissions, sins of immorality, pride, lies, arrogance, violence, they are countless Lord, have mercy and forgive. Allow me to start afresh with you this morning Jehovah, in Jesus name.

Remember my wife Cordella and children; Bill, Emy and Cosea. Any area where my sins affect my marriage, wife, children, please Lord, intervene and bring the suffering to a permanent stop, in Jesus name. I seek to make amends and return to the fold of the household of God Almighty. Please Lord, accept my prayer, set me and my entire household free. I am unworthy, we are unworthy, but i come to you only in the name above all others, the name of Jesus the Christ.

Again Lord, scan through my life as a person and set me totally free from every personal or family curse and drawback.

Scan through my wife Cordella’s life and set her free from all individual and family lineage curses in Jesus name.

Scan through my sons; Bill and Cosea’s lives, separate them far from paternal and maternal sins and curses, forgive the sins of their youth and grant them bright futures Jehovah.

Scan through my daughter, Emy’s life, forgive sins of her youth, disassociate her with sins and curses originating from family tree and lineage, in the Mighty name of Jesus.

Heavenly Father, scan through the Okoth and the Macha families, do divine spiritual cleansing to the core. Jehovah, you are Supreme and the only one who can undo works of darkness, evil and demonic activities in any life or family tree. Lord, deliver and liberate us King of Glory. I ask only, in Jesus name.

Praying to you Jehovah while on this Prayer Mountain (Agongo). I am looking up to you Lord for a testimony, of your eternal faithfulness, testimony of your love, healing, anointing, restoration, redemption, of prosperity, testimony of your forgiving grace and divine favour in Christ Jesus. May my faith in you be rewarded and not be put to shame, in Jesus name.

King of Glory, Jehovah Jireh, provide finances for our children’s fees and upkeep in high school and universities. We are thankful, for this far you have brought us. You have held Cosea’s hands to high school by your mercies and love. You have seen Bill to university and now about to be through. You have seen Emy through to the university of her choice and brought healing on her skin. We are greatful as a family and will forever give you the glory. Now open wide doors for income opportunities, we need funds to keep our young ones supported both in and outside halls of learning, we desire Father to have more than enough for their inheritance. May you provide according to your riches in glory. As we cross over from 2025 and onto 2026, let us witness and testify of your great breakthrough in our finances. Let us see unending flow of divine income in 2026 such that all witnesses would aknowlege you are Yahweh and can lift the fallen beyond measure and human understanding. I don’t deserve it but only come to you under the umbrella of my Redeemer and eternal Friend, Jesus the Christ. All have seen our struggles and talk about it openly, now because we have openly declared our faith in you as our God, they will testify of your goodness and mercy when you build and lift us up again. Do it Father, in your great mercies and love, do it Lord, in Jesus name.

We have debts, many of which are forgotten due to years of struggle to meet the very basics and bare minimums of life. Forgive us Lord for the sins against our creditors. We sincerely desire to fully repay and restitute for good standing with you and your people. Hold our hands by your great mercies and provide resources for us to repay the disturbing debts as we have listed them before you Jehovah. Provide that i may repay debts i owe to individuals and those i owe to online apps. Do the same Father regarding debts that my wife owes on behalf of our family.

Finally Father, i present my trading life to you and ask you to scan it through and perform a divine correction and setting. Direct me to the place of victory and profits but keep me off the place of losses and regrets by your divine providence and anointing. Make it a source of great wealth and prosperity for this family. May you use it as a place we can draw from capacity and strength to support courses that give you glory and promote your kingdom missions on earth while we patiently wait for your return. I am unworthy but only ask in Jesus, the name above every name. Amen! Aamen! Aaamen!

Psalms 91 Personalized in Prayer

Because i dwell in the shelter of the Most High, i rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Lord, you are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust. You’ll surely save me from the fowler’s snare and from deadly pestilences. Father, you cover me with your feathers and under your wings i find refuge, your faithfulness is my shield and rampart. I fear no terror of night, nor the arrows that fly by day, nor the pestilence that stalks at night, nor plagues that destroy during midday. A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand but it will not come near me. I will only observe with my eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. I declare you Lord as my refuge and make you Most High my dwelling, so no harm will overtake me, no disaster will come near my tent. Jehovah, you command your Angels concerning me, to guard me in all my ways, your Angels lift me up in their hands so that i do not strike my feet against a stone. I tread on the lion and the cobra, i trample the lion and the serpent. Because you love me Lord, you rescue me, you protect me, for i acknowledge your name, i call on you and you answer, you are with me in trouble, you deliver me and honour me, with long life you satisfy me and show me your salvation. In Jesus Mighty name! Amen! Aamen! and Aaamen!

Welcome to My Corner of Faith

Greetings in Christ’s name, dear friends.

My name is Seth Odiwuor Okoth, a Kenyan Christian Sabbather who also embraces the Pentecostal belief in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. I was born in 1970 and have been blessed with a loving marriage, a grown-up son, and two wonderful teenagers.

I was raised in the faith from childhood, though my journey has not always been perfect. There have been seasons of closeness to God and moments when I have stumbled, but through it all, I have learned to lean on the unending grace of the Lord. His mercy has never failed me, even when I have failed to live up to my own expectations.

Over the years, I’ve come to believe that Christianity is not something we only speak—it’s something we live. Our actions, kindness, patience, and integrity can be prayers in themselves. The way we treat others and walk through each day can reflect God’s love more deeply than any sermon ever could.

This blog is a space where I hope to reflect, share, and grow—where faith meets everyday life. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I believe in walking the journey together, learning from Scripture, from one another, and from the quiet whisper of God’s Spirit in our hearts.

If you’re reading this, welcome. I pray that as we share our experiences and insights here, we’ll encourage each other to live out our faith more genuinely and gracefully.

May our lives be living prayers, and may every act of love draw us closer to Him.

Blessings,
Seth Odiwuor Okoth
